Exercise

Exercise can produce long term health benefits like reducing blood pressure, controlling diabetes, and improving your mood. Exercise is one of the leading New Year’s resolutions that people set for themselves, but a proper regimen can be very difficult to get started on or maintain.

Here are my recommendations to help you achieve your exercise goals:

  1. Make it fun: Do it with friends or with music.
  2. Make it interesting: Outdoors supplies plenty of stimulation.
  3. Make a commitment: Fill in an activity log to track your progress.
  4. Set your goals in writing: Short term and long term.
  5. Make it a routine: It can be short intervals of 15 minutes or longer.
  6. Make it safe: Talk with your doctor if you are not used to doing exercise.

Together we will discuss how exercise can fit into your healthy diet regimen and how it can best benefit you.
